National Dog Show – Philadelphia

Gr CH FireHorse Franklin, aka Oak once again took Best of Breed for a chance to compete in the Working Group at the National Dog Show in Philadelphia, PA.  This show was a CCAA regional specialty and this win finished Oak’s CCAA Grand Championship.  This is Oak’s third regional specialty win.

Oak’s first group placement was a good one.  First in the Working Group / GRP1.  He will go on to compete for Best In Show today!

Eukanuba Breeder’s Stakes, Tuxedo Park KC

We participated in the Eukanuba Breeder’s Stakes at Tuxedo Park Kennel Club, NJ.  Entries consisted of 3 dogs from the same breeder, from at least 2 different litters. All 3 were shown as a group and judged for quality and consistency.  We took 4th place in Working Group with a newly accepted breed and an entry consisting of 3 different colors.

FHK9 Therapy Corsos make the local paper!

Our local newspaper did a feature story on our dogs and their participation in the Tailwaggin’ Tutors program.  Elementary school students in our local school district had the opportunity to read to the dogs in order to help improve their reading skills and confidence.  Jen and Trinity made the cover.

Dorian kicks off first weekend in AKC

Dorian brought home a 5 point major Best Of Breed win in Oklahoma City, OK on the first weekend of full AKC recognition for the Cane Corso.  It was surreal to see Dorian trot into the group ring alongside some of the best working group dogs in the USA.
